How our pain gel works.
Our key ingredient is Menthol. Menthol is a cyclic mono terpene alcohol derived from aromatic plants. It has analgesic effects on acute and inflammatory pain by activating a cold-sensitive TRPM8 receptors in skin.
Menthol has been used for pain relief since ancient times, first described by Hippocrates and Galen. Hippocrates considered mint a cooling agent for peripheral pain and repeatedly brought up inflammation in connection with such ailments as hemorrhoids, superficial skin infections, and ulcers.
Attentively designed with health in mind, our patented pain relief gel is formulated with plant based ingredients free from parabens, formaldehydes or formaldehyde releasing agents, and phthalates.
